25 years ago: Jeff Pensiero and his partners co-founded Baldface Lodge, a backcountry lodge near Nelson, British Columbia. Their vision was to make the backcountry accessible to everyone, regardless of skill level.
Getting to where it is today was a rollercoaster: There were challenges along the way, such as a lodge collapse and a diarrhea-inducing superbug. But there were also many highlights, such as riding with Craig Kelly and hosting the first-of-its-kind Ultra Natural event.
